Aaron Spiers is a multi genre, multi instrumental musician who performs on electric bass, acoustic guitar and as a singer. Aaron has performed with and supported some of the finest names in the music industry in Australia, UK, USA and all over Europe. Aaron is a member of firebrand rock outfit – RavenEye, which is based in the UK. Aaron is also endorsed by Aguilar Bass Amps and Union Guitars.
Over the last five years of his professional career, Aaron has had the opportunity to perform with RavenEye, Kim Wilde, Ben Lee, The West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Guy Sebastian, Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, David Campbell.
Aaron has also supported the likes of KISS, Aerosmith, Slash, Deep Purple, The Darkness, Bush, HaleStorm, Toto, Leo Sayer, Arrested Development, The Blues Pills, Diesel, Vanessa Amorosi and Lior.
Aaron has been a member of RavenEye over the last four years, not only playing bass but organising all aspects of the band’s business from merch to social media to tour planning. RavenEye’s debut album NOVA was a career highlight, collaborating with Oli Brown to create the album that allowed RavanEye to tour with the likes of KISS, Aerosmith and Slash. RavenEye are now looking to write and record their second album and everyday is focused on bringing the next mammoth album to life.
Also a prolific jazz bassist, Aaron has his own jazz group with two records to his name including ‘Rediscovery’ and ‘Play Your Own Way’. These albums feature some of the finest jazz musicians in the world and are exceptional works. In the vein of Jaco Pastorius, Snarky Puppy and Pat Metheny, these albums show off Aaron’s talent as a composer and band leader.
